Apidya' Special
A 1992 Amiga classic, remade — for two on one screen.
What it is about
The remake of a 1992 Amiga classic: you fly as a bee through meadows, sewers and a techno level, shooting mutated insects.
For two on one screen. The remake brings assists the original did not have.
First take
If you know the name you know what is coming, and for everyone else the placement is short: a shooter from a time when games lasted three hours and you got better at them rather than playing longer. As a pair you sit in front of one screen, and that works as it did then. New, and important for an unevenly matched pair, are the assists: checkpoints can be switched off, your weapon survives death, and there are up to ten continues. There are too few reviews for a verdict so far — we will add it.
This game has only just come out. The co-op details are settled and sourced; a PairScore still needs reviews. We will add it as soon as there are enough.
